The services offered by Financial Strategy are essentially of a financial nature and they encompass different areas of specialization.
Asset Management and Financial Consulting
In the context of asset management and financial consulting, Financial Strategy wants to emphasize the contractual relationship between the client and the professional organization furnishing financial services. In many countries financial consulting does not necessarily require a formal written agreement. Our group stresses the importance of formalizing such a relationship as we deem it critical to clearly state the performance objectives the client is seeking and the level of risk he is willing to accept. The financial consultant, relative to investments and disinvestments, acts in a similar way to a portfolio manager but uniquely on the basis of an exclusive agreement with the client: in fact he does not hold any power of attorney with the banks or the institution where the assets are deposited. His activity is limited to the supervision of the client's financial situation and to proposing investment solutions suited to fit the client's needs and the structure of its wealth. The financial consultant could also be in charge of checking the efficiency and competitiveness of the bank/financial institution acting as portfolio manager; in particular the consultant will examine buy/sell transaction prices, interest rates applied, the rating of debentures, the selection criteria for investment funds, commissions and fees, and the overall quality and cost of the services rendered. The broad spectrum of skills and the experience of our consultants enable Financial Strategy to cover the complete range of investment possibilities and markets. Advisory for investment funds. The company provides investment advice based on the analysis and the identification of macroeconomic long-term macrotrend.
Portfolio management as offered from Financial Strategy is based on the mandate conferred by the beneficial owner (private or institution) to select the investments most suitable to achieve the agreed objectives. The client grants Financial Strategy a power of attorney limited to investments and disinvestments, however the manager is not authorized to withdraw or wire funds or pledge the assets in the account. The client and the manager formally agree on the objectives of the mandate and quite often the instruments to achieve these objectives. Thereby, the client and the manager clearly determine the maximum acceptable level of risk together. Financial Strategy, having taken into account the laws of the different countries where it performs porfolio management activities, has standardized its portfolio management mandates from both the legal and economic points of view. As a consequence the most competitive bank conditions negotiated in the sole interest of the client are fully transparent. The investment process is supported by standardized procedures which encompass all the group's resources: each manager, independently from his/her location, contributes to the definition of a common Asset Allocation. Thanks to a matrix structure, maximum and minimum limits are established for every asset class, currency and type of client's risk profile. Within these grids the manager can chose the individual investment tools and the most suitable time horizon for the strategy that best matches customer’s expectations. Financial Strategy reporting systems allow for daily automatic checks on the compliance with the investment guidelines established through the asset allocation process for every client risk profile.
